I was definitely a vampire because blood during sex was fun. Your pleasure is our pleasure.” He shrugged when I didn’t reply, totally not buying it. “What I want most in this moment is to hold you while he tastes you. Yes, I want everything else, but later. There’s no rush, and treating you right is more important.”

I shivered at the visual he gave me. I looked away and curled up to Darius. “Depends on how good dinner is, I guess.”

“Brat,” he chuckled and then let out a full laugh. “Well shit, that’s—better go check on it.”

“Thanks for the gentle and spoiling,” I murmured to Darius as he moved off of me. He hugged me to him and held me. I sighed, loving this feeling as much as the fire and lust and crazy hormones.

“You’re welcome.” He kissed my hair. “It’s all part of my deep dark plan to make you addicted to me so I can always stand at your side.”

“It’s working,” I admitted, covering my face and giggling as I rolled over. I couldn’t believe we’d just done all of that, how much I enjoyed all of that. I curled up on my side, seconds from asking for more. “Maybe I am turning into a slut.”

“Mmm, does my princess want more loving?” he teased me, kissing my shoulder. “I would please you and make love to you all night, so it’s not being a slut but being with the right person.
